Overview

The Mediminds Internship Program is a unique initiative designed to give high school students real-world exposure to the medical and healthcare fields. Launched in 2023, the program is a joint effort by Career Width, the M3M Foundation, and Doctors For You. It was created to inspire young minds to pursue careers in healthcare while nurturing a sense of social responsibility and empathy.

In 2024, the program gained further momentum when the Young FICCI Ladies Organization (YFLO) joined hands to support its mission of creating impactful learning opportunities for the next generation.

In 2025, the program evolved into a more immersive and hands-on experience, offering students multi-day field exposure across hospitals, refugee camps, and community health programs. Participants engaged directly in maternal and child healthcare initiatives, cancer awareness sessions, and real-time patient care support, while also gaining practical clinical insights, soft skill development, and mentorship from experienced doctors and healthcare professionals. The program also introduced structured hospital rotations, deeper community engagement, and enhanced career counseling sessions, making it a truly transformative journey from classroom learning to real-world medical practice.
